14 y/o client charged with simple battery. After receiving independently obtained video, it was clear my client shouldn’t have been charged. Our offices contacted the District Attorney’s office and attempted to send that video. For undetermined reasons they could not receive the video. Attorney Payne tool her laptop to their office and her and the assigned ADA watched the video together. The charges against the client were dismissed.
